Living on a Soldier's Budget

Sometimes I regret letting the general pubic know that I'm currently serving active duty in the Military. But I am, and I let on and that's that. But let me be perfectly clear, I never have or ever will sacrifice bills, gas, groceries, or savings for some new computer or new gadget. If there's something I see that I want, I save for it and make sure it balances into my monthly budget. Service members do not make a lot of money, don't ever think that. But by keeping a decent budget, staying on top of the bills, and living within our means, we can maintain a fairly comfortable life style, especially those of us that have been in for as many years as I have.
